Year 9 cricket – boys
Congratulations to the year 9 cricket team and Mr Deane who defeated Bluecoat School in the semi-final of the Liverpool Schools’ Cup on Wednesday evening. The boys are now through to the final which is a fantastic achievement.
St Hilda’s 93-4, Bluecoat 87-6. St Hilda’s win by 6 runs.

Year 9 cricket – girls
The year 9 girls had their first cricket match this week but unfortunately the other schools cancelled. Instead they had a special coaching session at Sefton Cricket Club.

Tennis
A group of students from St Hilda’s had the opportunity to attend the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament at Liverpool Cricket Club this week. The students had a coaching sessions from a senior coach at the club and used the fantastic facilities at the club. They also watched some of the professional matches. A fantastic time was had by all the students. Many thanks to Madame Thornton for taking them on her day off!
