Visit from Maggie Mullan

Maggie Mullan of Maggie Mullan Architects came into school today to speak to year 9’s about a future career in a architecture.  She spoke about what you need to develop in order to become an architect and the importance of Mathematics and Science.  This opportunity gave the students the ability to broaden their knowledge of different careers available to them and the fact that even though architecture is stereotypically a male profession all universities and organisations want females into this profession as they feel that they have better problem solving and analytical skills which are needs for this role.
