Clipper Race

We hope you are enjoying the wonderful sunny weather we’ve had of late! Hopefully the sun decides to stick around throughout the summer months, as we’ve got an event we’d like to invite you and your family to, that will be made all the more exciting by beautiful weather:
Please join us at the Albert Docks in Liverpool, to celebrate the start of the 11th edition of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. Over the weekend there will be fun and festivities for all the family, and we’d love you to be part of the atmosphere. Wave off the yachts as they embark on the first leg of their incredible journey – with particular loud cheers for our #TeamUnicef yacht, of course!
Unicef will also be present in the race village, with a small tent where you can chat to some of our staff about the work we’re doing across the globe, as well as the partnership between Unicef UK and the Clipper Race. There will be a few fun activities in our space as well, so do come along to check them out!
When: Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August – Exact timings of festivities on the day are TBC (Race start will be on the 20th August)
