BRITISH SCIENCE WEEK – 11-20 MARCH 2022
A HUGE thank-you from the Science department to everyone who’s helped with British Science Week. It was a busy and exciting week with a bake sale, workshops on growing crystals, flame tests, growing seeds and building spaghetti towers! Over 50 students attended the after-school workshops and had a great time.
We raised over £150 for Claire House and had 3 amazing winners (see photos below): 1st place – Kevin O’D – Brain Cake. Runners up: Fred C – science biscuits; Danika H – Galaxy cakes. Staff prize: Mrs Wilson – Science Week cupcakes.
Farm Urban students have thrown themselves into the competition and were keen to share it with everyone in the atrium – we’re glad to have such an enthusiastic group of students.
