The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Congratulations to this year’s cohort

Miss Flavin and the DofE team would like to say a huge well done and congratulations to this year’s DofE cohort.

The pupils walked over 40km over the 4 days. They completed each challenge with courage and determination. They had a range of weather conditions to fight against from 25 degrees to torrential rain during a thunder storm, typically just as we were all trying to put tents up. All of the pupils powered through with very little moaning.

Pretty much all pupils fell asleep on the coach home showing just how much physical effort they had put in.
