St Hilda’s is celebrating another year of GCSE success.
In a year of significant changes to grading, assessment and national expectations our students have more than risen to the challenge.
- 83% of students gained a pass grade in the new Maths GCSE.
- 81% of students gained a pass grade in the new English Language GCSE.
- 90% of students gained a pass grade in the new English Literature GCSE.
In English Literature, 13% of students gained a grade 9, compared to 3.2% of students nationally, with Maths and English Language also comparing favourably to the national picture.
In all subjects:
- 49% of students gained at least 1 A*/A grade (or equivalent)
- 22% of students gained at least 5 A*/A grades (or equivalent)
Headteacher, Mrs Jo Code, said that these results reflect the hard work of staff, students and parents. We are delighted for all of our students who are now equipped to continue their education and training.
