GCSE SUCCESS

St Hilda’s are celebrating a phenomenal set of GCSE results.  We are not highlighting any one child, or group of children, but we are so proud of ALL of our students.  The past 2 and a half years have been difficult for us all, but bear in mind this is a year group who had seen the previous 2 cohorts of Year 11 not sit external exams.  The decision for external exams to take place was late in their academic year, but they never took their foot off the pedal.  They worked, came to additional lessons, came to revision sessions, attended sessions after school and in the holidays.  They still found time to do their sport, play their music and contribute so much to our St Hilda’s family.  To do all of this and still get the fabulous results they did reflects the very special year group they are.

So no specific mentions, no headline figures.  The results are better than the last set of external exams in 2019, but these students are so much more than numbers on a piece of paper.
