Holocaust Survivor Visit
On Monday 19th March all of Year 8 and 9 participated in a visit organised by the History department. Tomi Komoly, a Holocaust survivor, came into school to share his experiences with our students. Tomi was born in Budapest in 1936 and experienced the anti- Jewish laws introduced during the 1940s by the Hungarian government. Our students have been studying Nazi Germany and the Holocaust in History. Students and staff were profoundly moved by his remarkable story. We were very grateful that Tomi made the time to come and share his recollections of a life changing period of history.
