PE news from Monday 23rd April to Monday 30th April
Results from last week:
Year 8 dodgeball boys LSSP tournament – City Champions!
Ronan Brady, Cameron Scott-Allen, Jack Jevons, Elliot Hunter, Aswin Shibu, Samad Sayed, Leo James.
Year 7 netball v Calderstones School – St Hilda’s won 12-3.
Akiya Connor, Gabrielle Cruse, Lara Bratherton, Mia White, Faidra Papagianni, Ela Raley-Williams, Fran Hardman (Captain), Evie Corrigan.
Year 9 netball v Calderstones School – St Hilda’s won 10-6.
Lydia Mason, Amber Lashley, Ellie McNee, Emily Mellor, Rebecca Humes, Lucia Liu, Lucy Burke.
Year 8 cricket v St Margaret’s – postponed.
Year 7 cricket v Merchant Taylor’s school – Lost. Merchant Taylor’s 84-1 and St Hilda’s 51-6.
Year 8 netball city tournament – cancelled by Archbishop Blanch.
Merseyside County Netball Finals LSSP tournament year 7 and year 8 netball. The year 7 girls put on a fantastic performance at Wavertree Sports Centre. Mrs Gilbert’s POTM was Faidra Papagianni and Miss Dennis’s POTM was Mia White.
Overall results – won 4, drew 2 and lost 1. The year 7’s missed out on qualifying for the semi-finals by 1 goal!

The year 8 girls played well but had a difficult draw against Wirral Grammar. Mrs Gilbert’s POTM was Ebun Akinya and Miss Dennis’s POTM was Andrea Ellinas.
