Pupil Premium and Free School Meals

Your child may be eligible for free school meals if you are in receipt of certain benefits.

If you think this may apply to you then contact Inland Revenue or the Department for Work and Pensions to see if you can claim. The application form for free school meals can be found in One Stop Shops.  The phone number is 0151 233 3016. Alternatively, you can visit any One Stop Shop for advice about free school meals.  You can also apply online on Liverpool City Council’s website:

http://liverpool.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/grants-and-funding/free-school-meals/

Any money is credited electronically to your daughter’s/son’s account so there is no need for anyone else to know that s/he has free school meals. It is up to your daughter or son to decide whether to take lunch every day or not.

Online Pupil Premium Report
The Pupil Premium is additional finance given to publicly funded schools in England targeted specifically to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.  Expenditure details outlined below illustrate how we use this funding to enrich the experience of identified pupils in order to improve their attainment and enhance their success in the next stage of their lifelong learning journey.
