St Hilda’s Culture Week – Proud to be me!

Monday 8th July 2019 – Thursday 11th July 2019

As a school, we are representatives of our great city – Liverpool is known for and proud of its diversity. We instil the same pride in our school community. Our culture week is based on the theme of “Proud to be me”; we want to celebrate the fact that we are all different and it is these differences that make our school so special and unique.

We have themed our lessons to help us to explore our differences and in addition to our lessons we have guest speakers looking at many different aspects of our diversity. We will celebrate our differences that include our gender, our heritage, our sexuality, our neurodiversity, our abilities and our religions and culture.

On Thursday, students can wear their own clothes to celebrate their diversity. We are really excited about the week and know that this will help us all to appreciate how special we are.
