Year 7 introductory parents evenings for 2018

Dear Parent/Carer,

I hope that your son/daughter has enjoyed their first few weeks at St Hilda’s and that they are feeling happy in school. I would like to invite you to an Introductory Parents Evening on Thursday 4th October 2018 to have a brief meeting with your son/daughter’s Form Tutor to discuss how he/she has settled in.

A further parents evening will take place on Thursday 2nd May 2019, where you will be able to talk to all of their subject teachers.

Your son/daughter will be given a 5 minute appointment between 3.30 and 6pm and this will be written in their planner. Please note the last available appointments with staff will be at 6pm. In addition, if you would like to speak to their Head of  House, please indicate this on the reply slip that should be returned to your son/daughter’s Form Tutor.

The school SENCO will also be available on this evening to discuss any issues that may have arisen.

Our attendance officer (Mrs Bulmer) will be available on the night to discuss attendance. If you child’s attendance is below the schools requirement an appointment will be made on your behalf to discuss the required improvement and the support available.

Pupils are welcome to attend with you and, if they do so, they should wear school uniform.
